Dansco's "Money That Made America" series

Dansco's "Money that Made America" series was a short lived album run that included a single page. The "Columbus" (instead of 'Columbian') half is included along with a variety of type coin half dollars. It is "America's Classic Half Dollars" and is a delightful album and one that isn't difficult to fill with circulated coins. I think it would be a fun project for a collector who like the size of the silver half dollars without wanting the commitment of the full Dansco 7070 U.S. Type Set album.
It would be a challenge for the advanced collector seeking these coins in full Mint State condition.

Cool album. I wonder if they made other denominations.
I like that album. A short set of beautiful coins. Could be a project in my future. Cheers, RickO
Neat album. And here I was under the misconception that the mint made half dollars prior to 1807.![>:) >:)](https://forums.collectors.com/resources/emoji/naughty.png)
This would actually make for an affordable set one could leave on the coffee table.
Wow they used to be in Vermont, never knew that.
Interesting. Of course this is not the money that “made America” but a cool album that would be awesome to show with the coins! Very cool!
The capital as well
I believe that is the outfit that contracted out with Dansco
International Coins and Currency is stationed out of Vermont.
Dansco would contract out to private firms and print albums in a limited run
per that firm's request.
Dansco has always been in Southern California and now Washington state as far as I know.
