1971 Half Dollar - Annealing Error?

This 1971 Half Dollar caught my eye. At first, I thought it might be PMD, but maybe it's an annealing error. Any thoughts?

    This, or possibly a parking lot special. Either way, exposed to the elements and PMD.

    i have one of the 2022 brittania 2lb coins ngc wrote about finding it is so obviously doubled it almost vulgar extreme doubling down to the artist initials to the little dots the letters and numbers are probably almost 25% showing in the numbers and letters under the top ones next time i dig it out i will post a picture of it. i paid 34 dollars for it at govmint.com
