Useful tool: PCGS coin lookup browser bookmark

I apologize if this is not exactly a topic under US coins, but I figured people here may find this very useful.

I use this browser bookmark to easily and quickly lookup PCGS coins by cert number. Just add a new bookmark by right clicking on the bookmark bar and select the option to add a bookmark or page.

I use the name "PCGS Cert Lookup" but you can use whatever you want. Then copy and paste this to the URL field:
data:text/html,<script>window.location.href='https://www.pcgs.com/cert/'+prompt("PCGS Cert Number:", "");</script>

That's it. Every time you want to lookup a coin, click on that bookmark and type in the cert number. Enjoy!

I've tested this on Chrome and Firefox but it should work for most browsers.

Thanks! Not sure if it's faster than just bookmarking the cert lookup page, but it's certainly fast and definitely works.

It's one less step, which adds up if you are always looking up coins.

This also works for CACG coins by using this URL:

data:text/html,<script>window.location.href='https://www.cacgrading.com/cert/'+prompt("PCGS Cert Number:", "");</script>

And NGC coins:

data:text/html,<script>window.location.href='https://www.ngccoin.com/certlookup/'+prompt("NGC Cert Number:", "")+'/'+prompt("Grade:", "");</script>
