Circulated Commemoratives

I'd love to see some of your circulated early commemoratives.
Here is one I just picked up (the most common one found in lower circulated grades.):

Don't own it anymore, sometimes I wish I did.
I pulled this proof clad from a customer wrapped roll from a bank a few years ago. I had it in my 7070 for awhile. I liked it because it looks like a business strike. The proof luster is completely done from circulation wear. It's not worth anything, it just matched the look of the rest of the album.
Oh my! I'm sorting through my circulated classic commems tonight, pulling a few out for grading at Summer FUN, and I just finished scanning the remaining coins in my Dansco for the heck of it when I saw this thread. Here are a bunch circulated commemoratives in a Dansco. Some slots have the wrong coins in them, indicating that coin is TPG graded and I'm filling the slot with another commem. I still need a Spanish Trail, a Bridgeport, and a Cincinnati. Anyway, here are a bunch of circulated classic commems to look at.

Very cool set!
A few TP graded circulated commems.
PCGS AU50

Purchased as AU off eBay for an AG price. PCGS graded it MS63, thereby violating set 'rules.' No complaints.

A black beauty.

Two favorites:

Several of my nicest TPG circulated commemoratives came from Don Soles' (@InYHWHWeTrust) collection. Unfortunately, they lack accompanying photos, and need to be TrueViewed.
I like circulated commemoratives since that was the first way I encountered them - as a kid with a paper route. The Booker T. Washington and the Columbian Expo were the first commemoratives I had ever seen. Years later, I assembled a short set of the states I lived and worked in - nine coins. Cheers, RickO
LOVE this!
Lincolns tone readily and many are really nicely toned in XF and AU. I'm sure you could find a nice replacement pretty quickly on eBay. I bought the first originally toned Lincoln I encountered, but I kept finding even nicer Lincolns and now have at least 5 in my collection.

Awesome Dansco and set, @Barberian! Also, thank you for the explanation of the coins in the slots as I was just about to post to point them out to you.

I have a question that has always baffled me - why are there so many circulated classic comms out there? For sure the modern comms would not “show up” in pocket change - I never understood this …
But love this post - big fan of classic comms
This is a fun thread.
I like the Dansco sets!

20+ years ago when I became interested in circulated commems Braddick was the first person that I talked to on the boards. His insights have definitely been a plus to me and many others. I have a graded lowball set, a circ Dansco album and a holed Dansco. In addition I have a graded circ gold set minus the $50’s
