Dump The Trolls............

.........back to coins. Now that I have your undivided attention! 😂 🤣

1971 Kennedy Half. Do you think it's a DDO? I don't see anymore notches or doubling on any of the other devices. Do you think this is enough to be classified as a DDO?

Does not seem like the DDO, but a shot of the “T” in liberty would help.

@Ownerofawheatiehorde- These are the only notches I see. The T in liberty is normal, nothing there.

@OAKSTAR I’m pretty sure it’s shelf doubling, see those “steps”? Both DDO would have splitting on the T in Liberty. Great photos by the way. :)

It looks like die doubling to me, but the small spread combined with the die erosion makes it hard to see.

Man I do not know, usually if you have to wonder it is not the real deal.

It is a minor DDO, probably #4 or #7. But as you can see from the late die state, it had a full press run and is very common. I've seen LOTS of these.

I think I will reserve my judgement of the coin. With your misleading title, it seems I've just been trolled. And... will follow your advice in the title.

Looks like true doubling to me, but I'll need to check Variety Vista.

If it is a true DDO, this is the second Kennedy (the other one was a 72-D) I've found that's not listed.

Doubled die. Some TPGs will simply label it "Minor Doubling".

Your thread title appears to have been click-bait which was clearly “misleading”.

You're right, the title was misleading. It was meant to send a message, ignore trolls and get back to coins. Looks like the message was received loud and clear.

VERY minor - probably won't be recognized as such by the top 2 - maybe ANACS?

That is certainly a minor DDO, if at all. I would have called it machine doubling with wear, but there is room for doubt. Cheers, RickO
