Is there a decent all in one that will scan slabs/cards or is it best to just separate printer and dedicated card scanner?
Thanks!

Correct, the answer is no. Go with the Epson V600 and don't look back!
Thanks for posting my guide @RufussCkingston

I learned from the best!! I'm shocked that it sells for $329+ now (though still a cheap investment if you plan to do a lot of sales). I paid $229 from Dell and Best Buy 2 years ago.
Dang, I haven’t checked the price recently. Still the best option,
Decent option here for $150 @TNJabe29

I think I snagged a basically brand new V600 gently used from a printing company for under $190 on Ebay. my used V370 was only like $40 plus shipping as a cheaper, but quality, option.
but yea once I got the V600, I never use the V370 anymore. way different backlighting/LED makes for a completely different scan (for the better).
