New collector here! 1915 P Buffalo Nickel error

Need help identifying the type of error. Was this nickel struck on a cent planchet? If rare, what’s the worth? Thanks for the help.

As a metal detectorist, I can assure you that your coin spent some years in the ground.
Yes came out of the ground have dug many that looks like yours
