Score 9, wish I could have come up with a more obscure Mets catcher.
Thinking back to my 1975 topps set helped me with the Mets and Indians catchers. I have all next week off work so I’m going to study my 75 and 78 sets. 🥳

I seen today's grids, even gave it a 2ble look...and thought: Go find something else to do...
Me too… I took a look at the baseball grid, made me wonder if former Royal’s player Jeff Francouer was French Canadian, nope, and then said this grid sucks.
Too bad it’s become geographical nonsense trying to complete this thing.

hey D....
I totally get it...if needed a geography lesson I'd be on a different forum...
Born in Kathmandu, played with Phillies.
Born off Earth, 7th round draft pick.
Played with Marlins, mother’s first name was Gertrude.
Played in Japanese minor leagues, been kissed by Morganna.
Over .300 avg., played on USA National wiffle ball team.
Got hold of some future grids… believe it’s about time to opt out before this thing turns into a complete train wreck.
Al Oliver and Larry Hisle were both from Portsmouth OH just down the road from where I grew up. Imagine going against two great pros on the same high school team.
Nice use of Daddy Wags, Groce. Other than the Rock, he was my uncle’s favorite.
Many years ago I used to work with an in-law of Richie Stelmazeck at an animal hospital... Lizzy would bring these Awesome raspberry tarts 🥧...Those Where So Good...
hey Gridder's...
Check out my grid with Billy Williams 1.0% and then take a look at Darin's Billy Williams 0.6% ...
Any thoughts???
I personally don't care about the %'s...
Sounds good...Laters...

Groce i almost used Garry Maddox. Did you know he was never an all star? Score 8.
Yeah that's too bad that GM was not an All Star... though Garry Maddox was Pretty Good batting lead-off playing Cadaco All Star baseball...
now you guys know some of my clues & hints from me playing Cadaco & Strat-O...
hey @Browns1981
I'm almost certain it's the same thing with Kirk Gibson never an All Star...
Awful... Just Awful...

hey @Browns1981 & @Darin
This one just hit me like a ton of bricks on another Mets catcher:
Duffy Dyer...
Good one! 👍
I’m actually surprised I thought of someone besides Gary Carter. 😂
can't think right now...
I can only think of about 5 players born in Canada but it’s the same guys everyone knows and I refused to use Larry Walker

today's grid looked fun so i partook
but that bottom row wasn't exactly easy
and if you remember my 'fav baseball card memory from your youth' thread, then you know how I knew Jerry Garvin
you'll never be able to outrun a bad diet
and i had to do this Texas grid that i missed a few days ago
the Rangers only one team square was far more difficult than i anticipated......really had to dig deep to remember Greer

Rockies ruined my score immediately so I did this quick
hey @Browns1981 ...
I don't do new school baseball, nor new school football teams...
not in the mood for two-team bs today, and especially not colorado two-team bs. just give me a benjamin for the empty squares
score: 409

I totally goofed on my baseball'er...
Score 4, took my time on the first column but the others were easy
I'm ashamed, I missed a Braves square. lol. I guessed Chipper for 200 hits. Didn't want to take Hank he was too obvious.
hey ya Landry...
Looks like you'll be in after school detention...
Another George grid. 👍

Nice football grid Groce!
I'm not even gonna waste my time with these 2 today...
Tried Bagwell for the bottom middle first but no dice
