Well, the weight is correct 3.1g. The color of the pictures above might be deceptive. The coin in-hand is a copper color. It doesn't look like the composition of a dime. The diameter and thickness also seems correct.

That was my immediate impression upon seeing the first two photos.
If the weight is correct, this is just a weak strike.
Looking at the examples for 'Greasy Ghost', it sure looks like that may well be the explanation for the OP coin. Cheers, RickO
