More Sad News: R.I.P Glen Jorde of Devils Lake. North Dakota...

tokenprotokenpro Posts: 877 ✭✭✭✭✭

passed away on July 2. Glen was a well known currency and coin dealer who traveled the country to all the major shows and many regional shows as well. He kept a table at Long Beach for several decades. He was also active in local and regional clubs including being a board member of both MOON and Central States in recent years. Glen was a pharmacist by training but also operated Lake Region Coin & Currency in downtown Devils Lake for many years. He was a member of the Army Reserve and a private pilot for most of his adult life.

Glen was a personal friend for many, many years and shared a passion for Upper Midwest trade tokens and WCHA hockey-- every rare North Dakota and Dakota Territory merchant token probably passed through his shop more than once. He will be missed.

Out of curiosity, who's running his inventory??

He had a nice Everett WA large size I never got a chance to purchase. His website was up till a month ago. I remember meeting him at the Long Beach show in 2016.

    RIP Glen
