I had a guy at the coin club bring in a SLQ without a date and figured it was an error coin worth??
Flipped it over and explained the bad news.
Those do make nice pendants.

Haha, you got me as well. I almost commented on the unusual date wear pattern, I've never seen that before on a walker. The date wears from the sides (or the left) not the middle.
Titled at just the right angle a ghost of the "87" is visible.

dang, some of us feelin really miffed now
My guess was going to be contemporary counterfeit.
The wear pattern does not fit a genuine WLH.
The rims and central details are ~VG, while even a Poor walker will still have a partial date, as it was heavily recessed.
All moot now of course…..fun post!
