Do is true or just BlaBlaBla?

Years ago I was and remember with Stanton at Reserve to analyze Quarters. I was three days. Been there I ask if they has something to sell, then I have the OK for 1000$ but only Morgan's, Peace or Quarters. I choice Morgan's at 9$ a piece (100 pieces).
I selection from a bag of 1000 coins 100 pieces and one which was bizarre for me.

I ask if is legal this, and someone from technical department told me that coins as this was use for engravers or production quality. The Observe is gold plated and transparent email over. The Reverse show the coin was heat and marks of used.

Was the only one coin as this I find and my question: Do someone know or hear about?

Sorry for the quality of the photo, I took fast. Thanks

At this point, it seems like you're just deliberately spouting nonsense.

Coin appears to be gold plated and likely for some promotion like late night TV coin sale shows.
damaged and worth the silver value only, in my opinion.
It's not something that was ever done at the US Mint.
Post minting damage is what it is.

I would suggest editing your first post, as it is riddled with typos. The coin has PMD so it's not anything special.

Is english your second language? Just curious.

Thanks AUandAG I took because the Observe design is perfect to compare with others. I wrote BlaBlaBla because I didn't believe the explanation give. The silver is there and for 9 $ I do not loose. Thanks was what I thinking but we never know till we do not have a confirmation.

Looks like a regular silver dollar that was sand blasted to clean it and perhaps to camouflage the bag marks and was then gold plated. Probably intended to be used in a western style belt buckle or a bolo tie.

Unfortunately some do gold plate the details for reasons I don't know.

Ah, I was thinking you were Italian based on the way your sentence structure is.
No problem, I just have to read a little closer.
You sure have some beautiful coins, even including that 1858-O DE you snatched from my grasp back in March.😂

Do I was rude or seize? Sorry, I always pay what I like and remember who has good things or those who compete.

    Don’t quite understand that.
I was making a joke because I knew you picked that one up from Fairmont.
Glad you was able to get it, as it was a really nice coin.
I ran out of $$ at an unfortunate time, that’s all.😂

That is a post mint plated coin.... No additional numismatic value. Cheers, RickO
