This one’s a NEWP for me and it looks better in hand than the pics. I love it!

@HillbillyCollector I love your 1850-O double eagle. I’m hoping to find a nice crusty one in a VF-XF grade.
Here's the TrueView image of your dog.
Great thread.... Gold coins are really nice.... Will have to add to this when I am more mobile.
@crazyhounddog ... Any chance of adding the reverse picture of the 1909D $5?
Cheers, RickO
While I’ve showed this one before, I think that it’s kinda a twin to the 50-O so I’m putting it up again to see if anyone else thinks so.
And man do you all have some great gold coins!
I like looking at copper/silver but I LOVE looking at gold.😂

Here it is with a couple of others.
Howdy and thanks for the shoutout.
This is the most recent DOG to join the pound:
Looks like a fine Double Eagle to me!👍
Appreciate the compliment!
I noticed the upcoming Fairmont sale has a ‘50-O in AU-53. Might be something of interest to you, if you haven’t already checked it out!
Oh and you have some great looking coins!
Congrats!
RYK will recognize these two DOGs I am happy to have in my set.

@crazyhounddog....Thank you very much.... Once again, beautiful gold coins. Cheers, RickO
"DOG" = "dirty old gold", I was going to post a real doggy coin until I realized that!

Did you say double beagle?
A: The year they spend more on their library than their coin collection.
A numismatist is judged more on the content of their library than the content of their cabinet.
Wow!
Geez, those are incredible but that 1803/2 is to die for!
With that smile...miss liberty can be a very dirty girl at times!

Beautiful set of coins but the color on that 1805 is fantastic!!😳
Successful BST with ad4400, Kccoin, lablover, pointfivezero, koynekwest, jwitten, coin22lover, HalfDimeDude, erwindoc, jyzskowsi, COINS MAKE CENTS, AlanSki, BryceM
Considering the distinct toning, especially around the devices, I would say definitely a Type I Double Beagle. I see no signs of AT.😉😂
Moving to a Type 3!
The 38-D is ex RYK
Great set!
Especially that ‘38-D and the ‘60 Clark Gruber!👍
Definitely a fine pack of killer DOGs!😉
I've got the gold bug.
Type collector, mainly into Seated. -formerly Ownerofawheatiehorde. Good BST transactions with: mirabela, OKCC, MICHAELDIXON, Gerard

What……..A ‘gold seeing eye’ dog, no pun intended.😂
@HillbillyCollector Your '50-O and '57-O double eagles are impressive DOGs.
Here is a PCGS AU58 CAC...
And another...
Wow!
These definitely qualify as some beautiful DOGs!
Congrats, big time!👍
My pet $20.
Here are my two favorite gold pieces:
