1973 Dime - Struck through Grease error?

The rough look of this dime seems to match some of the struck-through-grease errors I've seen online. Maybe it's post-mint. Any thoughts?

Looks more like an acid soaked coin - weigh it to see if it is less than the standard.
"When they can't find anything wrong with you, they create it!"
PMD for sure - acid damage or some other type of corrosion.
Sand blasted ?
No that is corrosion, could have been a metal detector find.
As others have stated, this dime was absolutely damaged after leaving the US Mint. It appears to have been in the ground for a while and is corroded. Spend it.
In honor of the memory of Cpl. Michael E. Thompson
PMD
looks like someone found that dime on a Beach somewhere in the sand and water. not a grease filled die for sure.
Me thinks it's been tumbling around in the surf for a while.

I agree with PMD... And likely a beach find with a metal detector. I have found a couple just like that. Cheers, RickO
