1817 Large Cents... post what you have...

I was more actively buying a few months ago but have since been on the sidelines... either by choice (didn't really like the coin for the money) or by being outbid (really liked the coin, and apparently so did a few others that had more money!). During this lull, I'm going back through the pieces that I've already accumulated and 1817 sort of stands out in my collection. I just added some lighting to my set up and was playin' around. Here are mine...
1817 (13-stars). This was my first acquisition for the date run...
1817 (15-stars). This was one of the first Redbook variety coins in my collection after I had finished the date run...
1817 N7 (Mouse on Head). I had been wanting to upgrade the 13-star to XF or better and had been beaten out of a couple of auctions when I saw this one come up in an ebay search for the date. Much lower grade, but the "mouse" is unmistakable.

Cool, my favorite Matron Head year.
One of my bucket list coins, prohibitively rare and expensive in MS, this is about as close as I could get.
My 1817 N-8....part of my PCGS G06 set.

Now I need a decent 13 star to match!
For a Randall hoard date/variety, nice ones are of course around, but seem to have issues and weak strikes.
This is the only example in my collection, an N-2, (R-3).
The best one I have.
I've sold a few in the last few months. One this week:
Part of my date set, which I will never finish, This one is called a Newcomb 8.5 by the specialists. It's obviously a Randal Hoard piece.
Here's my contribution to this thread....... purchased from mreureka several years ago. Apparently it was discovered during the dredging of a river ........ the coin has been firmly attached to a large rock at the hands of Mother Nature over what I'm guessing was a long period of time?

Thank you!
PCGS graded it MS-66, Brown. I bought it at an EAC convention from one of the better known collectors who was selling off at least part of his collection.
After the Randall hoard piece, I wasn't going to post.
This is for the mere mortals
