    Looks nice for a 62.

Luster looks above average, but the photos are poor and I can’t ascertain much else. Contact marks look on par with the 62 grade, I don’t see it grading anything higher though. Couple rim nicks and her nose is all chewed up.

The coin looks real, but those photos look juiced or something. The white balance is way off. Those old ANACS slabs are white, not yellow. With that said, I would expect the coin’s color to be slightly different in hand.

For me the ANACS sticker made me crazy. I do not find equivalent in all generations. the rounded downs on bar code was use with the Genuine and not with the MS or such. Those was Gen P4 and P4.1. Also the motto.

It looks fine. The images are overexposed and the white balance is off.

Looks like a nice coin. Color’s off from the pics but the coin shows up good.
If there’s return privileges, it could be a legit buy!

If in doubt, pass unless the price is low enough to take a chance on it. The pics are lacking but it looks properly graded and authentic.

There's nothing wrong with the slab label. Coin looks fine. Color is off because of the lighting for the photo.

The photographs are overexposed, which makes it harder to judge. For that reason I would not pay any premiums over the Internet.

This 1876-S is graded AU-58. I bought it raw in the 1980s, and had it graded over 20 years ago.

No returns accepted would make me look elsewhere. Good luck with your decision.

Him or Her do not accept return so I canceled my offer at 5K.

    Run Forest run.

The pictures are juiced and the coin is way overpriced.

On eBay there is no such thing as "No Returns" - but just the hastle of going through with it.

Just saying @silviosi - PCGS price guide (Which is always high) say 5000$ for a PCGS graded example. And that is too high for ANACS grade so Good thing you retracted your bid!

    Good decision IMO.

All kidding aside. 1876 DE’s in 62 are not rare. They have sold in the $4000 range in PCGS holders and $2000 in NGC holders. The seller with juiced pictures is asking $7000 for his in an ANACS holder. There will be much better opportunities in the future. It’s not like this is even remotely close to a key date.

Assuming it is accurately graded, Greysheet in 62 for this coin is $4350 so a $5000 offer in this hot market is fair enough... but at $7000 this guy is just fishing for a sucker. Pass

Let me know the next time you see an 1876 G$20 NGC MS62 for $2000. I'd like to buy it. ;)

Don't see anything wrong with it except the price. Too rich for my blood on this one. You made the right decision to pass. JMHO

Me too. CoinFacts prices I quoted were from four years ago. My bad.
