Did you purchase this off of Ebay?
Have you tried to identify which die marriage it is?
I only ask because I saw a coin very similar to this, also in a PCGS holder, on Ebay and at that time I didn't believe it was authentic.
Cert does not check out and there was another apparently sold yesterday on Ebay, also with the same cert but with different bar codes on each holder. Without better pics i'd be suspicious. There are only five known mintmark positions for 1875-CC.
The five mintmarks for reference.
And also the "other" 1875-CC with same cert but different bar code that closed yesterday on ebay.
Yes - it's got different toning on both sides and looks like it sat in a cabinet untouched for 100 years. I don't have any information about whether it was tried at CAC before I acquired it. I would assume DLRC would try it, but then again, it looks like a good candidate to me (?)
The bad 1875-CC half dollars are coming from China in fake PCGS holders and hitting eBay. They are included in my master list of the bad ones currently available...

I missed the one from yesterday and just reported it.
No CC Morgans here either so I can play too, and I have the 20 center![;) ;)](https://forums.collectors.com/resources/emoji/wink.png)
Here is a thread I started about a fake with this cert number.

Awesome 1875-CC set! One of my favorite CC years.
