Another tougher date for color on Morgans, 1879 (P)

While I did not start out looking for tougher dates for color, I have acquired a few when the opportunity presented itself.
Here is the latest addition to that, an 1879 Philadelphia with nice two sided toning.

Does anyone else have a nice example of this date? If so, please post it!

I know it's only 50% the same but this is a tough type for color.

Here’s my 1879. This is one of the first toned coins I ever purchased. I got it long before I ever thought about doing a complete set but I did think it was cool at the time that it wasn’t a 79-82-S or 83-85-O.
20 years later and I haven’t seen one I liked more.

I don't have one but was not a 'toner' collector, just found a few here and there. However, checking the Sunnywood set I think I like this one. I will note that I don't like some of the sunnywood 'toners'.

Ah, I forgot about that one. Ok. I haven’t found I liked more in my price range. 😀

Would be interested to see if any 79P can match the Sunnywood above. Thanks for sharing. Perfect blend of all the progressing rainbow colors and the film light enough for the luster to sparkle through the toning.
