Looks like a good crowd.
Nice. Less CAC stickers than I expected at jj tea party.
@Che_Grapes... Look like good attendance.... Did you get an impression of business volume? How about bullion sales? Cheers, RickO
Thanks for the pictures, glad to see a nice crowd, hope the sales were brisk and plentiful for the Dealers in attendance.
I thought prices were fairly robust and also the demand from the dealers to buy coins was stronger than I’ve seen it. I sold everything I brought, a few at more than I expected to be offered, and wished I had brought more. There were bullion tables but I’d say 20% or less. A lot of it was specialty bullion (pandas etc), but I was really impressed with the amount of raw and graded numismatic coins were available - and again prices were on the high side which kind of tells you the market is still running on the hot side. The coins I’m trying to pick up are still too expensive for me at the moment! The picture on the top of the 12 coins in the box we estimated 100k worth of coins right there. Lots of high dollar coins in that room!!

Only true if they are selling at those prices. Listed prices are not an indication of the market. Sold prices are.

Yes I made a few offers and did push a few to what they would do for a certain coin - so negotiating was possible but folks held firm - didn’t find any “steals” like I’ve seen in the past - I guess that was my point. Many coins had eBay prices and held to them. Saw a lot of folks buying - saw a lady produce 2600 dollars in 100 dollar bills right next to me for a coin. So buyers were there. I think sticker prices often show where the market is - they did negotiate but the starting point was on the high side. I tried to find coins under the pcgs price guides and simply couldn’t.
Thanks for your report.
Looks well attended with lots of nice material.
Wow, great report and pics. Awesome to see such a busy bourse too!
