Being a collector, would you use such protective boxes?

Sure! Sweet little case. I bet it gets heavy when it's full.

Yes, have used all sorts of containers for coins and slabs. That one looks much better than some I have used (using). Cheers, RickO

I would NOT use those for long term storage. The foam liner may not be archival. You might as well lock your coins in with a hard boiled egg.

5- years +. No problems as long as I check everything once in awhile. But point well taken. Perhaps rip out and replace with cloth. 🤠

My favorite long term storage of various loose coins are Dansco albums.
If I have bulk items I get rid of them.
It isn't the "box-of-twenty" way of collecting yet also isn't the "big-storage-box-of 20,000 either".

I echo the concerns about out gassing of the foam especially as it deteriorates over time.

I like the album. Looks like the Eagle albums I’m familiar with.

I might be crazy but I keep ‘em in secure storage in pcgs boxes. Take them out and organize to look at every now and then. Then put em all up again.

Five years is quite a long time, and using a desiccant might be a good idea.

I understand how you feel. I think the focus should be on displaying, and I can show off everywhere

You can use PVC for 5+ years with no problem also.

    JM.
Absolutely and I realize that I’m setting myself up for failure. Anymore all I’ve got to do is say something and wham I wind up eating my words. That I can live with but if my precious little coins start to turn, now that’s a problem. 😂
