Bay State Coin show - Who's planning to go?

The Bay State Coin show is July 28 and 29 this year. Is anyone here planning on going? I still haven't met any forum members except for one guy that set up a small table a couple years ago. Its a good size show. I always leave with something. I would really like to run into a few of you at the show. Nice to put a face and a personality with the chats here.

I might show up on Saturday, but I'll be returning home from Vegas that morning so I don't know what energy I'll have to attend. At any rate, I will be set up at a small local show in Westport, MA on Sunday the 30th if anyone wants to meet! I'll have my custom books at my table there.

@The_Dinosaur_Man Westport is about a 60 mile drive for me, but if I am feeling up to a drive I might come down.

BayState Show is the first show that I attended, that was about 55 years ago, when it was held in Boston.
I may stop by on Friday as it is 30 minutes from work that day.

I liked when it was in Boston better. It was 10 minutes away. Now its a bit of a drive. Still not bad thou. @1630Boston

I can't do it, but I try to list significant coin shows on the SSDC Registry and have that one. However, I could get no information on the table count. I just guessed 100 but would like it to be as close to reality as possible. Anyone know how many tables or dealers typically do this show?

And then some. Go to any large city and you'll see lot parking rates of $20-$40 easily. And sometimes that free parking is borne by the event promoter as part of the venue rental cost.
As to the admission thing, some people don't understand the operating costs to put on a major show-no one is getting wealthy off admission fees; they surely weren't when I was involved with putting on shows. Heck, when I was an officer of ILNA we had people gripe about $1 admission to the ILNA state show back in the day. By the end of the show admissions basically covered the cost of security and some show signage.

Best way is to set a time and place at the show to meetup; like 1pm at the food court as an example. If the show is busy it may not be feasible for others to be on the lookout from a photo. Just imo.

Thanks for the update. Though he isn't a "private" person, I didn't want to post his FB photo without his permission. He has a weather report every morning from his VT home with periodic giveaways.

Northeast Numismatics did a free certified coin for the Manchester, NH coin show a few months back.

Nice pickups, especially the Oregon Trail as it is my favorite Commemorative. I'm not an error collector, but I must admit I like the football shape of the cent error.

I'm looking forward to the show on Saturday.
