Finally got to visit the Carson City Mint. been wanting to go there for quite a while. i’m not sure this is the exact die that made my coin, but it very well could be.

Very cool. A visit there has been on my bucket list for years. It's actually in the planning stages now, so I may get to go there myself next year.

That must have been a very rewarding trip. And with only 228,000 1885 CC’s minted, that obverse die could certainly have been used to strike your Morgan. Pretty cool!

Since I was in the area I had to see this to.Not sure why but I wanted to see it anyway.Ha!Ha!I think there is more than 3000 silver dollars on this wall.
