I have this coffee can that I keep with my first outing haul. Reminds me of the great time I had when I empty it out to observe. Nothing special except to me I'm
sure as there is no silver or old items. I have a Prism IV metal detector that I bought in 2010 up here in the Midwest from a dealer out of his garage. Hoping to upgrade to a Garrett AT Pro this year. Hopefully anyway.

@MtW124... A lot of coins and, of course, a lot of the usual beach detritus... Good luck on more beach searches, and let us know when you get your new machine. Cheers, RickO
Suggest a simultaneous multi-frequency detector if you are going to hunt salt water beaches. I am partial to Minelab detectors, which is the only company with a full line of simultaneous multi-frequency machines. The salt will fool a single frequency detector like the AT Pro.
Thanks Roy. RickO, I will once I decide which detector to buy. Thanks for the information Bayard I will definitely take that into consideration when choosing my next detector.
at least ya got a nut cracker set, fwiw
I was expecting 40 or 50 Spanish gold cons. Better luck next time.
So was I, just got a chance to hit the beach in Norfolk and came across this 12” down
What is it?
Seems to be an ornate piece of Mahogany used in the interior of a ship. I found this plus a step about 12 inches under the sand. Must have washed ashore during a storm as it was far away from the water near the sand barrier before the homes.
