If they are all circulated common dates (aka bullion), many dealers would go $20/ea or $2k for the lot. If you got a dealer offer of $24/ea that is a strong offer.

My wholesaler buy bid is $29.50.

@KISHU1 ... From the above, offers range from $20 to $29.50 individually... Which leaves current midpoint at melt.... If you can get the lot for under melt, grab it... If it is an auction, Don't go beyond melt plus a dollar...(unless you spotted a couple of high value cherry-picks in the lot). Cheers, RickO

Respectfully, Peace dollars are not 1 oz. They melt at under $19.

ALL wholesalers are buying in the $29 range. I would not create a range based on ignorant estimates of the market. $20 is pawn-shop-take-advantage-of-the-ignorant pricing.

You don't go by melt value on these. They go by wholesaler buy bid.

did you buy them? was it fixed-price, or auction? What price were they asking if you did not?

my experience at estate sales/garage sales is that usually the seller wants an arm and a leg, and perhaps even your firstborn for coins.

Morgans and Peace dollars are 0.77 ounces of silver but as has been pointed out they sell for a premium over melt value.

Is there a good online location to get a good feel for what the going wholesale bid is for non-dealers?

That looks like a good price but make sure you can check them yourself. Ave circ is not the same as VG+.

VG+ coins sell every day on eBay for $28 or $29 delivered and you can pay with a credit card.

Upstate does not do business with the public.

The question asked was what do dealers pay.

And they most definitely DO business with the public. I'm not sure, however, that they will buy via mail from the public. Nonetheless, ALL wholesalers are buying at the same price. So if wholesalers are buying at $29, a reputable dealer will be buying 100 Peace at about 10% back or higher.
