Penny / dime error

Picked this up in a small local collection purchase recently, looks legit to me. Its clad and weight is correct for a clad dime. Its size of a penny but definitely thinner.Has the underlying details of the struck dime viable. Date looks to be 1993 or 1998.

Already struck clad dime found it's way into a hopper of unstruck cent planchets and then was overstruck as a cent.
