Obviously details grade due to the harsh cleaning, but with the pics and my poor eyes I am wondering what grade would this receive from our host?

I'd guess VF details, if it's genuine.
First instinct is counterfeit. I don’t like the D in dollar, and the mintmark is questionable.

I got a trade dollar with a surface similar to the third image and discovered it was a fake...
I'm with the others. Too many red flags.

It's a fake, either an added mint mark or cast counterfeit. Ref Coinfacts, especially the MM'S on the genuine examples.
