Luggage question for the road warriors among us...

My last few carry-on bags have not been up to the task. Granted, I work them pretty hard, but it's only become a problem in the past few years. Probably because I buy cheap crap on Amazon, but I have no idea which ones are any good. Suggestions, please!
And yes, of course I know about Pelicans, and I use one to carry inventory to shows, but they're too conspicuous for general travel needs.

TravelPro has been my luggage brand choice. My carry on certainly have a way longer life span than my checked luggage. I'm not sure what luggage can endure that torture more than a couple of years. Not sure if I'm considered a road warrior but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night. Lol
I might be a little bit of a road warrior, I'm almost a million miler on Delta alone.

Another endorsement for TravelPro here. I've used their line of luggage for years and years and have never had a piece fail. They work great, hold up terrific and look just like any other bag another person would carry.

You can buy an IMR2400 pelican on marketplace or Craigslist for $25-30. A guy in Phoenix seems to have a warehouse full.
One use USN optics or electronics. The gov throws them away. As new condition. Who cares if they are 'conspicuous'.
TravelPro purchased. Thanks!

I used to be a 'road warrior'.... For many years, I could go at minutes notice, always carry on luggage. TravelPro worked - and works - for me. I do not do a lot of traveling anymore, but still have the same carry on for my occasional trips. Cheers, RickO
My wife got a good solid carryon at Target a few years ago. Fits overhead and has held up quite well. I don't think she spent more than $30 on it. I use a soft duffle, think the last one I took to Panama was a freebie with some purchase of something, cologne or perfume or something. That and my backpack and I can have a week of clothes easy and can be international ready in ~10 mins.
