2023 women's quarter, PDS roll set, Eleanor Roosevelt, release date 6/5/23

The next installment of the 2023 women's quarters features Eleanor Roosevelt. Perhaps her popularity might stimulate additional interest in this series. Only time will tell.
If you need to adjust your subscription, you should do so relatively quickly.
Interestingly, the Bessie C. and Edith K. earlier 2023 issues are only sold out in the three roll sets, while the bags and two roll sets are still available.

Popularity yes, brilliant artwork? No. Well, I cut my subscription to 1 roll set...
Well, just Love coins, period.
I’m doing one 3-roll set. I’m addicted to giving the mint some of my money. Although I’ve stopped the W ase proofs and the burnished which are coming soon. I’m good

Seems to be a segment of collectors with real interest in these modern quarters. Is the interest mainly for varieties/errors?? Cheers, RickO
I think it is really all in the low mintage Business Strike "S" mintmark quarter. The only way to get them is in the 3-roll sets. Which is why the P & D only rolls and bags are still available. With the increased mintage of 3-roll sets this year the demand has dropped considerably compared to last year. Lots of supply and flippers are not making much. I think they have found the mintage threshold for these between hot and not.
Got the notification today that they are getting ready to confirm my enrollment. Announcing the June 5 th release. Monday? Anyway. Just an update 🥱. Just one set for, I’m not sure why. 🫤

I have never collected quarters. But I was convinced by this forum to collect the AWQ, and I have been buying each 3-roll set via subscription. I get excited for each release now and am REALLY looking forward to the Jovita Idar. I have a feeling that one will be in high demand because of its uniqueness.
Agreed. I’m going to get two sets of that one.

Anyone get a notification from the mint about enrollments? I’m not seeing any sales notice. 🧐
Here’s what is showing in notification now.

I never got a notice or got charged for my subscription for Eleanor Roosevelt. That’s never happened before.
Regardless, as of now, they are readily available on the Mint website.
I don’t really want to buy one and then have to deal with a second set from enrollment. Maybe time to just stop buying these.

Just posted. Glad I waited.

Wow, I haven't seen this subject so dead. I have two sets coming from subscriptions just to keep up my set run. But talk about going from burning hot to ice cold.
Issue price of $54 with a mintage of 304,800 is a door busting, brawling sell out.
Issue price of $60 with a mintage of 504,800 and the demand is gone. Walk in and pick up a few sets at your leisure.
My subscriptions show 2 sets @ $60 each processed on 6/5/23
No other notification other than confirm your account information last week.
2.4 years of this program remaining. They do appear to sell out so they are not producing too many. It's probably at the perfect balance for normal collectors buying mint items to get what they want.
The 3- roll is unavailable quick

Another pass. The packaging this year leaves a great deal to be desired.
?
It’s the same packaging as last year only better. I’m confused 😁

My subscription finally processed. This design is rather uninspiring. Looking forward to the Jovita Idar.
Did anyone get the "confirm that your credit card details are correct" email from the Mint for these?
I always do...but not this time.
Last week I posted above. It was just a notice. No CC or anything. They released on a Monday and managed to mess it up.

I cancelled ALL my subscriptions from the mint, my opinion, it's all junk
I will focus on real coins of the 19th and 20th century's.
More for everybody else, have at it

Best year for moderns ever in my opinion:

If I'm not mistaken last year was still a flat box with a plastic insert that separated and protected the rolls by holding them in place. The boxes the USM is using this year (also for other roll products) offer less protection in my opinion as, because of improper sizing or assembly, the rolls are left to bounce around and into each other.
This years boxes are also larger taking up more room.

Last years box fit into a small flat rate box, this years doesn't. Cost more to ship.

Fair enough. I didn’t think that the first quarters for this year ( the square box) were poorly packaged but to each their own.

I'm still into these because of the essentially negligible outlay on a price per coin basis (basically $1 per "S" coin) vs. potential upside due to an error or other issue, etc.
Not a collector of the series. May look for one in circulating change, but even then…
The 3 roll set with the "S" roll is sold out. Actually I'm not sure they were ever put on sale? All sold through subscriptions?
They were available for a little while at release, yesterday. They had some trouble with the enrollments not being confirmed but that’s worked out. The 3- roll is at remind me. Try checking at 9 am est in the morning’s.

Is it the silver or clad S-Mint Womens Quarters that everyone is chasing as lower mintage? I see mintages that say 303K minted in S, are they talking about the silver or the clad pieces? I would guess silver, but have no idea.
I am a newer collector (started April 2020), and I primarily focus on U.S. Half Cents and Type Coins. Early copper is my favorite.
these three roll PDS sets are not silver, but rather, are clad. the 303K you're referring to, I believe was for 2022 issues. I think there was approximately 500,000, or a little more for 2023. you can get the actual mintages directly from the US mint website, going to either the 2022 product or 2023 product pages. Find one of the women's quarter issues, and it will tell you what the mintage is. all 2022 issues have the same mintage, as to the 2023 issues, but a little more.
.2022 Total available S quarters 304,800
2023 Total available S quarters 504,800. Your welcome 🙏

The key to these S mint quarters is that they are business strike versions. Not Proof.

i picked up 6 sets of the pds E. Roosevelt, all my sets are sold before they even arrive from the mint
Interesting. Product limit on the PDS is 12.620. They sold more than they minted?
It is not uncommon for the Mint to initially show sales numbers higher than a limit. The Mint doesn’t necessarily net sales vs. cancellations in the same week…
The 3 Roll Set showed up again with "Add to Bag" last evening, so I have one set processing, on the way this coming week. The set is no longer available this morning.
What time?

3 roll sets are available again this morning.
