Since you appear to be asking people to guess how PCGS graded the coin, what was the point of including CAC in the thread title?
I had posted a GTG on a 1921-D merc w/cac label that looked “erroneously” over graded.
Those who aren’t familiar with the other thread won’t have any idea what the CAC reference in this thread’s title is about. And even for those who did see the other thread, isn’t this one still about PCGS?

it’s all 10000000% about cac (imho)
That was far from clear, based on “Speaking of cac, what did our host grade this 1921 WLH, another one of my favs”. Having said that, my grade guess is MS63.

It’s a nice example of one of the great American 20th century coins, ‘nuff said.
being a Walker guy esp a 21-D, I’ll post my GTG 21-D in a bit just for you.
Thanks. Bear in mind that when I joined, many names with variations of walker, walking, etc were already claimed by earlier members, so I had to keep trying variations till I found one unique to me. But I’ve always liked that date in the series and always will, despite spending more time and $ on large cents.
Very hard to grade from this photo. It can range anywhere from AU-58 to MS-63 depending on whether there is real wear on the center of the eagle’s breast feathers and below Liberty ‘s breast as well.or not.
AU63. Looks like a luster break in the obv field above the motto but you’ve said it’s in an MS holder. Regardless, hard to tell unless you rotate it under a light.

Beautiful coin, especially in MS condition, for the many marks, scuffs and reed hits, I would say MS63 also.

You already blew it and mentioned it is an MS, I would have guessed 58 just from what I see, ok it's guess right?
So being we are now smarter, I'm at 62
Nice regardless, makes sense it's one of your favorites.

I’m not going to ignore the nitpicking about the nitpicking about the thread title…
“Ignore”

It sure doesn’t look like you ignored “all the nitpicking about the thread title”.😀

I think Mikee is excited to show off his coin collection. Been a few posts lately.
Suggest maybe put 3 or 4 coins together in one post and let everyone check them out without gtg.
Post why you bought them, if you are doing a series or type set, what you like about them...etc.

I concur. The piece appears to have slight wear.

Sweet 62! Looks better than that. And I don’t see any wear, either.

Is this one of those time PCGS market graded a technical 58, and bumped it up to a 62?
Not to my eyes, as I don’t see any wear. That said, the images aren’t the sharpest.

Why is there a "D" MM on the reverse in the pic you showed for GTG?
Seems like it's a 21 Philly?
