Any chance these might go from CAM to DCAM?

If I was to send these in to PCGS, do you think they might upgrade from CAM to DCAM?

It's hard to tell Cam from Dcam with pics but I'll have to say no. I think I'm seeing some areas not quite dcam.

Based on the pictures - which are difficult at best to determine between CAM/DCAM - I would say no. Neither one looks like it could upgrade. Let us know if you submit, and the results. Cheers, RickO

    Beautiful, dude!
    I hope I'm wrong? Lol
My opinion, no. I know our host is very stingy on DCAM's. To me, I would think they want that very light satin-like appearance? Liken the very recent modern Lazer frost proofs.
    Still very spectacular!

Would you buy them as DCAMs?
Which is a short way of saying: I am not sure, what would you think if you saw them listed and priced as DCAMs?

Maybe. Based on the pictures I am not too worried about the frost on the devices - I am more worried about how deep the mirrors are.

From the photos the fields of both coins look impaired. If the fields are impaired I doubt that either coin would receive a DCAM designation.

    Here is a 1966 SP66CAM half I submitted for grading in 2021.

Here is a 1966 SP68CAM half from Coin Facts. Coin Facts currently does not have a photo of a 1966 SP DCAM half.
