1976 bicentennial Quarter

What is everyone's thoughts on this Quarter? There is definitely doubling of the eye.

    Looks like a beat-up proof, nothing that special.

    Type collector, mainly into Seated. Young Numismatist.

    It looks just like the other eye , I can't find anything on about a Doubled eye have y'all ever heard of this before?

    Also a don't know what the camera is picking up but it's flawless even under my eyeloop.

    Take that back it's pitted really bad. And I couldn't see it while the coin was laying flat.

    Good questions and it’s always fun when we start to notice flaws. They made a gazillion of these and even the 40% silver is not rare. Kinda cool but not special enough to slab. Hang in there and hopefully others will give you thoughts that would help. Thanks 🙏

    If the OP is talking about the bridge of Washington’s nose – that’s not an extra ‘eye’
    It’s either a contact Mark, or some minor anomaly - I can’t tell from the photos

    Yep, what Fred said.
    If anything, look for the hard to find ddo on the Denver '76's! "LIBERTY" is doubled obviously. Esp the "LIBER".
    Big money for higher grades!

    You're right! On the reverse I see two eyes!
