Coin conservation / copper artifact conservation services other than grading companies?

I was listening to a talk recently, given by the curator of a large collection, and they mentioned contracting a company to do conservation work for them since the chemicals involved in verdigris removal required fume hoods and expertise. They didn't mention which company but it was clearly not one of the usual third party grading companies. Is anyone familiar with any such services and what they charge?

Does anyone have a link to an article or YouTube video comparing the conservation results from PCGS, NGC, and ANACS? ANACS pricing seems unbeatable but I've yet to see how their conservation compares, especially when it comes to verdigris.

Thanks!

I could be wrong but the tgps might not undertake artifact conservation. So you're probably gonna need to talk to museum specialists. Good luck. Peace Roy

@350gn ... It is a delicate business when treating coin metal with chemicals... Best to seek professional advice - contact the curator who gave spoke at the meeting and ask further about the company of which he spoke. The results he sought may be ok for artifacts, but not acceptable to coin collectors. Cheers, RickO
