I think the 09-SVDB in this set is not genuine - what say you?
Actually, I think this one is not even tough - the added "S" is misshapen, the the "N" in "United" on the reverse is NOT the "shallow" N that all 09-SVDBs have. Yet the bidding is robust - should we report it?

The dot between the D and B appears to be closer to the D. All SVDB’s have a centered dot. I could be mistaken on the location of the dot on their coin due to focus, but there does seem to be a dot near the D.

Looks like an added mintmark. Also, the 1914-D is heavily corroded. Hard pass.

It's definitely altered from a 1909 V.D.B.
The period after the "D" tells the story.
This is from a genuine coin:

Looks like the "deep" N in UNITED, the B crossbar in VDB does not have the slanted crossbar either. The MintMark is all wrong - not genuine.

33 bids thus far. To much money 💰 for me
Not a coin I would buy raw.
eBay nuked it.
It was reported...
Thank goodness.
I suppose that some of the things we do here actually do save people from themselves.

Glad it got nuked. I was going to report it as well, but got distracted with yard work![:D :D](https://forums.collectors.com/resources/emoji/lol.png)
Yep.... Listing is gone now... Good work!! Thanks for getting screen shots. Cheers, RickO
I agree, some of you guys and gals are smarter than the average bear.
I don't know what to look for in a particular coin, but I'm smart enough to do some research before throwing money at one.
