The keets collection of So-Called Dollars

keets was one of the main posters of So-Called Dollars on the forums for many years and was one of the first to get and post TrueViews for So-Called Dollars. Over the years, there's been mention of winding down the collection, so I thought it would be a nice tribute to collect his pieces together here which I've done in an article here in collaboration with him.

The collection on the following page is still being built but is a good start.

Post any of your keets So-Called Dollars or appreciation of his collection and collecting here.

A very rare Thomas Elder HK-887 No Room for Hyphens in silver.

The discovery piece for the HK-27 5-pointed star variety.

Great collection, @keets and thank you @Zoins for posting and reminding us of his SCD's.

@TomB I could not find out what got him banned. I too miss his contributions to this site. Anyone know where he might be posting now?

He was banned so he'll have to contact Heather and ask to be reinstated. I don't know why he was banned but I'd also like to see him come back. :'(

Keets was banned because of some posts he made on the Sports Forum...He loves his Cleveland Browns!.... Maybe just a little too much.

I suspect that he actually did come back.....For awhile.
    I really don't know.🤔

I thought I recall his avatar of a guy dressed in turquoise shirt sitting sideways next to a car… ??

And wasn’t he a nickel expert?

I haven't been around much lately either, and it saddens me to know he isn't around at all. I have great regard for his knowledge and enthusiasm of SCD's. I hope to someday achieve a set as lofty as he assembled.

He also wore a cape on occasion like Super Dog!

    Sad he’s no longer here.
