This is the fakest looking one I've seen in a while, so I guess thats good?
Why can’t they learn to remove the “Morgan” type??![:D :D](https://forums.collectors.com/resources/emoji/lol.png)
Type collector, mainly into Seated. -formerly Ownerofawheatiehorde. Good BST transactions with: mirabela, OKCC, MICHAELDIXON, Gerard
We should be glad that they haven't learned more. Otherwise it might become impossible to tell the difference. I'm so glad we have @burfle23 on our side.
Successful BST with ad4400, Kccoin, lablover, pointfivezero, koynekwest, jwitten, coin22lover, HalfDimeDude, erwindoc, jyzskowsi, COINS MAKE CENTS, AlanSki, BryceM
Just a shame ... Clearly a fake. Thanks for capturing the image.....Cheers, RickO
And the latest. New listing and new cert; I gave up documenting different certs used after 28...
Certainly a bad coin, but I wouldn't say the cert is compromised since it has a TrueView. It's easy enough for anyone to look it up and compare, which is the goal of cert verification.
Even without looking at the coin, one can see from the cert that this is a "Gold Shield" coin and there's no gold shield on the fake's insert.
If counterfeiters are forced to counterfeit coins with TrueViews, then I imagine things should be getting harder for them over time.
Fortunately you are "smarter" than the folks purchasing these fakes; "compromised" in my sense means the cert is being used for the counterfeits.
