If i had a slew of non standard items (a silver or gold bar) that i wanted to inquire if PCGS would grade it. Who would be the person to speak to at PCGS?

@hiijacker ... I did not realize gold and silver bars were being graded.... Are these art bars? Or just standard bars? Size? Cheers, RickO

Are they being graded by PCGS or is the OP merely asking if they are graded by PCGS?

I’ve never seen one certified by PCGS

A friend of mine owns a very early US assay gold bar, 1911 New york. It is currently encapsulated by PCGS as "Genuine".
He spoke with Steve Feltner at CSNS and Steve confirmed that they will not assign a numerical grade to it. The reason he hoped they would is because there have been other bars that were graded, but I understand they may have been graded by PCGS overseas.
