I enjoy going thru all my albums of coins and it got me thinking, I have proof sets from 1955 - present and silver proof from 1992-present that sit in a safe and take up lots of room and I never look at. So lets put together a set of albums for CENTS, NICKELS, DIMES, QUARTERS, HALF DOLLARS, DOLLARS, from the year I was born till present all in PROOF, ( I did add the Presidenial series ). This is a project that will take some time due to having to wait till Dansco makes the albums that I still need ( Dime, Quarter and Half Dollar ).

Painstaking self-labeling. I've had to do that for SAEs.....enjoy :)

    I love it!
What a terrific-looking display when completed.
    I am a curious little monkey. . . why didn't you start with 1950?

    That makes perfect sense!

Great idea. Congrats. Look forward to your final presentation. BTW, with all the price jacking for blank pages, you could always buy printed pages and turn them upside down utilizing the back for your album. These pages cost 25% or less than blank pages. Might be a while until you can get reasonable blank pages.
What labeling machine did you use?

Walle, I like what you've done. Makes me think I should've labeled mine with a little more details. I started a similiar project a few years ago. Using blank pages and a Brother label. Clear tape, black text. Looks amazing close to Dansco labeling. Lincolns, Jeffersons, Roosies, Wash. Franklins and Kennedys from start date.
I customized the way I wanted. Due to associated costs, I didn't start proofs until 1950. I was able to include some varieties in chronological order. The 55 Bugs Bunny half, 64 Accented Hair Kennedy, the 65 -67 sms coins right beside the ms coins of the same year. S varieties, Type I & II coins, the varieties of Lincolns & Jeffersons of the late 00's and the Silver proofs right alongside the clads. Thankfully I was able to acquire the blank pages prior to Dansco incurring their current manufacturing setbacks. Hopefully they get their problems straightened out by next year. Out of room on my Kennedy albums or which I have three.
Walle, I may have some blank quarter pages if you're interested.

Thanks for the offer, but I need close to 300 ports

Nice project, and I look forward to seeing your progress. I don't do albums or series anymore... but they sure do look nice when done. Cheers, RickO

Not sure how many I have but I know I have 6 to 10 blank pages. I wish they were half dollar pages. I'll check on Wednesday. On a 48 hour shift right now.

Walle, looking excellent. I wish Dansco would get up to speed. Soon to be sitting on 3 years of mint & proof sets with no place to put them for Roosies, Wash., Kennedys and the dollars.

    Great project.
You matched the gold script on the covers really well.
    Good job!
