PSA refused my FedEx because of damage, advice?

That’s all I know now.

I have a call into PSA because Fedex would tell me nothing further.

I’ve been a part time reader of message boards for many years now, thus I’m fully expecting some, if not all cards to be removed from the package.

So my question is, is there anything I could/should do in the meantime beyond this while I wait for the package to return?

Thanks for any and all advice.

Scott

Ask FedEx to hold it until you pick up in person. File an insurance claim if the cards are damaged.

Thanks very much, I assume you mean have them hold it at my local FedEx and then go open it in front of an employee to see if anything’s missing?

Not just missing. It's easy for me to imagine a damaged package where some of the cards are not in the condition they were in when sent.

How did you package it? Did you use a fedex box. If not, how did you tape it? They sometimes reject packages that are in reused boxes with previous tape on them, thinking they have been tampered with during shipping.

I did reuse a box, removed the old tape completely on top, but not on bottom (but did apply fresh tape over the old tape on bottom). Interesting, and a ray of hope, thanks.

If the box arrives damaged, PSA is not going to accept it and therefore be held accountable for said damage.

If you packed it well and the inner contents are undamaged, you can basically put them in a new box and resend.

Missing/damaged cards is or will be a Fed Ex insurance claim.

    Good luck

Yeah, they figure it was cut open on the bottom and then retaped...
