Is your conversation rate correct for the fee from C$ to U$? When I calculate the % in US$ and then do the calculation of % in C$ the % should be the same but they aren't the same. Thus my question regarding the conversation rate being correct.

Your 380 USD conversion is inaccurate

Should be close to $480 USD.

eBay has different rates if you have a store and if auction or BIN

Me I calculate on the 1.3 Can to US and on the amount they will send me. I do not have seller account because I am not a seller or a store owner.

Also if I put at the price 640 come to 19% fees. For me seem to be to much. Maybe 10% OK. So the rest of them I has to sell on private and the forum. In Canada now the bullion companies are at 5 to 8 % fees on the spot.

Bullion rates are less than that.

    111/640 is 17.4%

Did you look at the breakdown on the order page?

Bullion without a store is 13.25%

Bullion with a store is 7.35%

For even that one item, a store would pay for itself.

There's something you're missing. The $111 is not simply the ebay fee unless there is an international sale which can ĥave an additional payment processing fee.

There is no difference for auction vs BIN

@silviosi - I see your auction closed at 640 CAD. On a straight conversion that is $474 USD, not $380 noted in your first post.
Auction fees were 111 CAD which is $82.20 USD. Use either set of numbers then divide the fees into the sales price and you get 17.3%.

Yes, 17.3% is a significant rate but it is not the 22.4% you noted.

Your auction needs some work as a SNAD is possible with your wording. Listing each coin separately would be preferable. And when selling on eBay you do not need to sell at melt price. You can do that anywhere with no fees whatsoever. I would end the auction and sell the remaining pieces to a direct buyer. Just my 2 cents worth.

@silviosi.... You could sell here on the BST with no fees at all.... Gold is moving well right now. Cheers, RickO

Their may be taxes involved you are unaware of, also, did you ship using ebay and have the funds taken out of your sell amount? If so, that would totally make your calculations in error? Also, for that kind of sales(if to continue) a store may be the smart move for you. I have intentions on finding out about a store myself. Do not know the specifics as of yet. Plus, pay attention to @ricko.

Thanks to anyone. I will follows the suggestion and everything to sell I will put here. I am not greedy. But to pay so much extra is to much. Always I use my accounts for shipping because of the insurances and also if it is an return it is on my account.

The next 4 sovereign and 100 Morgan's I will offer to you guys (will be same price 640 Can each). Also if some surplus of collection (I have some very nice to go, after I funded better grade, or orphans coins)
