This quite intriguing coin (especially the reverse!) sold at Heritage yesterday:
I had it on my watch list, but it got a bit beyond my budget.

Great coin. Do you know that this Brut was relative of Brut Old who participated in the exile of the Roman king in antiquity? He knew it and everybody knew and waited something for him. And he did. But it was another Rome...
Peace.
How much did it sell for? I don't have a Heritage account.

I watched the full auction it had some great coins. It sold for 720 000$ all-in.

So what? It’s unaffordable, unless your net worth is the high eight figures.
Sorry, but I am really really PO’d with auctions this week. Plus there was recently a high net worth individual who got screwed after buying one of these things in gold quite recently.
It did not cost me anything to enjoy holding it in my hands for about 5 minutes. It had great eye appeal for a circulated coin, especially the reverse.

Who here has $100,000. I need it to get that coin lol 😂
That’s a dream coin for my ancients collection.
I think that is a dream coin for a lot of people.
