from China at low prices.

Ebay sells lots of "ASEs" from China. They have been doing so for years. RGDS!

What concerns me is how these "coins" filter themselves into the
market place. Is it easy to spot them or distinguish them from the real ones?

and real ASEs??
Well... since US Mint has at times not been able to keep up with demand.... maybe there is a new 'branch mint' we have not heard about yet! (NOT!!)

Yep. I've got one dated 1906 that a friend bought for me 15 years ago as he knew I collected coins and he thought he was getting a great deal
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
