Sold for $21,000 hammer ($25,200 all in w/bp) at Heritage!
These early Walkers are soaring to new heights and it is so exciting to watch (for me, at least)!!
Congrats to the new owner and the consignor!!!
Cabernet Sauvignon all around!!!

That is crazy. People buy what they want. I'm sure the new owner is happy.![:) :)](https://forums.collectors.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
I'm happy with mine and still have $25,080 left.

Of course a very nice looking example but total 25,200$ total?

It looks like a great coin and I am not certain why $25,200 all in would be controversial at all.

I agree with you. It’s a new era. These coins are scarce and are being recognized for how rare they are, both conditionally and absolutely. It is my belief that they will only continue to appreciate, as the years roll on.

King of the walkers, very desirable grade with a CAC sticker to boot. It had everything going for it.
Big money gets nice coins. But wait - there's more!![:) :)](https://forums.collectors.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
"When they can't find anything wrong with you, they create it!"
Not that particular one, but some of the early Walkers are still underpriced in the higher circulated grades with unprocessed surfaces.
If pcgs price guide is $27,500 for an ms60 why is $25.000 out of line for a nice au58 and can to boot....am I missing something here?
Very nice coin ... if I had the cash I'd go for it.
The PCGS Price Guide is $22,500, and this is CAC in an OBH so is it that surprising?

@Zoins I didn’t say that I was surprised but rather I was impressed. It is by far a new auction price record, so it is a significant, noteworthy example. Three or four years ago this was a mere $15,000 coin.

There are a lot of lousy, messed-with 21-S Walkers out there. This one looks to be an exception that has a lot more going for it than a lot of examples graded 63 or 64.
Thanks for posting this result.

Awesome coin! I'll probably be shooting for something more like a VG for my registry set![ ](https://forums.collectors.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)

I'm feeling better and better for having stretched for an NGC VF30 a few years ago!
Good move! 👍
I know what you mean. I feel really good about my NGC XF 45 that I snagged at the end of 2021. It has a great strike and it has never been dipped.
I don’t really like the strike on this AU 58 and it has obviously been dipped/processed. Those two spots are a little distracting, too. JMHO.

I saw this coin in the brochure while back, strong price, I would have liked to have seen this coin in hand, with the tilt photo I was afraid there was some pvc residue but not sure? hopefully not
@Walkerfan... Nice WLH.... I will have a glass of that Cabernet please....
Cheers, RickO
The right holder and the right auction!
