Sexy 64 Red Indian

This is one sexy 64 IMO. NGC seems to be really tough lately. I have been scoring some nice coins that I feel are under graded.

A great looking coin, but I'm not getting the under graded vibe you are.

64 seems correct, multiple small nicks to the left of Liberty
    Lovely color though!

The marks by the t and e of Liberty hold the grade down. The reverse is a 66 and the luster and look screams superb gem. The coin also has prooflike fields which accentuate the marks. I will by 64's like this all day long! This is just one of many in a white pronged holder that are at the very least high end that I have acquired lately.

Very clean coin and a real nice luster also.

Great pick up, it does seem to be correctly graded. Reverse is def superior, you're subject line seems quite appropriate.

Nice. Who doesn't love red IHC's?

The surfaces and weak strike limit the grade. Looks 63-64.

It’s gorgeous. The luster almost pours off the coin. I think the contact marks do limit the grade to 64. The luster probably pushes it to a plus. I agree that it is a very premium coin and one worth a premium to me.

@ironmanl63 ... Wow... The luster on that IHC is amazing.... A special coin indeed. Cheers, RickO

Under graded is probably the wrong word for this coin. Extremely high end would be better. It really has the look of a 66 in hand. Technically it is a 64 that I would pay over 64 money for every time. You can see this coin from across the room. Love 64's like this.

I think 64 is realistic on this piece. I think the activity under the E in STATES is what kept it from a higher grade.
