Please let me Know Your Opinion of This 1849 O, New Orleans Seated Dime
![Eddi](https://us.v-cdn.net/6027503/uploads/userpics/QQ172BTIETBZ/nTIW7FT2JGUJ7.jpg)
I understand that there are both small O and Large O mintmark varieties for this date. This one appears to be the large O variety.
It is quite a nice example, with pretty multicolour surfaces and some luster. I have attached two sets of pictures, taken both head-on and at a slight angle meant to show the colour.
Please let me know your thoughts on, and if anybody could confirm the variety, that would be great.
Thanks!

I like it. Please mail it to me now!
That is a very nice old dime, lots of good detail definition and mild commerce wear. Cheers, RickO
I can't help with identifying the variety, but this one looks really nice, especially the first pic.
Don’t know about the variety, but that’s one hell of a good looking coin!
Type collector, mainly into Seated. -formerly Ownerofawheatiehorde. Good BST transactions with: mirabela, OKCC, MICHAELDIXON, Gerard

You've probably been here. But if not this may help.
VERY nice Large O. Must be EDS as no apparent die cracks from M and 2nd A in AMERICA. No doubling on the date either. That is a very nice pickup and a keeper. According to Brian Greer's book he had not ran across many if any at all sharp examples of the Large O. Congrats.

Thank you all very much for your comments. They are greatly appreciated.
I spent some time studying the information and pictures in the website which @justindan kindly provided: my dime is variety F-101.
@jesbroken, as you say, this coin seemingly was struck from fairly new dies. No breaks are visible on either the obverse or reverse. Thank you also for the information on the scarcity of this variety.
I just realised that nobody ventured an estimate of the grade? that is probably due to the fact I forgot to ask.
Great pickup. I saw some of these were minted with rusted dies creating a scaly appearance.
I think it is a nice XF45
