Preliminary List of the Bad Chinese Counterfeiter with Fake PCGS Slabs

burfle23burfle23 Posts: 2,433 ✭✭✭✭✭

I have put together an initial list of the counterfeits, most in fake PCGS holders sold by the main Chinese company.

I have included links to each "offering" and an image where I have one; pretty disturbing how many there are we haven't yet documented...

Please feel free to use as you see fit; I will continue to update while on the lookout for others.

Best, Jack.

    Thank you for your efforts. The 1921 Morgan looks pretty good.

    No, Thanks for the Time and effort that you put into this, it is amazing how much of this is being sold as real coins in PCGS holders They have gotten to the point where you can hardly tell real from fake coins it only hurts our Hobby and Businesses when Crap like this gets sold.

    If you right-click on the image to "open in a new tab" and then go to that tab to see the image larger, you may notice that the reverse type on this piece is the 1879-1901 hub (which is impossible for a genuine 1921 Morgan to have).

    That’s incredible. You said the slab was fake too? Then how does it come up in the PCGS system?

    @scooter25 Valid cert # with a valid coin; counterfeiters used one without a TrueView ( @Zoins ).
