2026...The Semiquincentennial...America's 250th Birthday

I see that an organizing committee and an events page has now been setup:

As somebody who clearly remembers the Bicentennial as a boy...it's hard to believe that we're 50 years down the road.
Does anyone know if any commemorative coin programs have been proposed (yet)?

As a personal aside...if it wasn't for the Bicentennial, I might never have started to collect coins.
As a child, I suffered from chronic ear infections,..sometimes missing weeks of school at a time. And during one of those bouts, my father unexpectedly bought me the three-coin special silver proof set (he bought it at Macy's in Manhattan, no less).
And a lifelong hobby was born!
25th birthday?

Oops...fixed now!
Probably be some sort of commemorative coin.... or maybe change the dime design....That has been around long enough. Cheers, RickO
They are planning on circ commems again but there have been no details and no designs as of yet. I saw one story that did say they wanted to include the dime this time.
