PNNA Spring show my take!

I won’t drown everyone with more bourse pics as mine are similar to what has been posted…I drove down Thursday afternoon (i live 2 hours north) met with a good friend/dealer and sold him several coins for his inventory including a perfect original raw 17-S Walker AU58, i already regret selling this coin but his offer was too strong to pass up.
Friday was extremely busy with wholesale deals, it was so busy from 8am until 7pm that i was unable to leave my table to go try to find new material for myself! Saturday was slower but with decent retail buyers …
Sunday was way busier than i was expecting with roughly triple the sales of Saturday!
I spoke with a major dealer that said this was his best PNNA show ever…and my best also…I see no signs whatsoever of a downturn in numismatic sales…
Bullions sales were strong IF the dealer was willing to sell and the table across from me said he sold nearly every gold coin collector or bullion that he brought, several others said the same…gold sells quickly if you are willing to part with it…i asked around and raw Saints (low grade certified also) were selling for at LEAST 2350..I did not take any silver bullion/eagles to sell but was asked repeatedly if i had any to sell.
The highlight of the show for me was @Lakesammman showing me the 1796 Bust dollar today, truly an iconic piece of American history
Also great to catch up with @Swampboy @Omegaraptor @yosclimber @Nysoto and all the other “Coin Friends “ i have made along the way.

I was the same way and found the above to be spot on!
I was commenting to Lakes, at our table, that Friday was dealer to dealer action and that Saturday, which was WAY busy in the morning to the point that you couldn't walk down the aisles, was a lot of collectors.
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
Nice!

I know the feeling about releasing a part of your collection. It's hard but it becomes more rewarding soon than after!

--- If it should happen I die and leave this world and you want to remember me. Please only remember my opening Sig Line.@2windy2fish... Thanks for the report and the details about gold movement. It seems to be the same in most reports on other shows as well. Cheers, RickO
Thanks for the report. It was great to see you again and catch up. Appreciate you saving the sample slab for me!![:+1: :+1:](https://forums.collectors.com/resources/emoji/+1.png)
It seems the reasonably priced bullion sold, the overpriced stayed in the cases. I had a few silver rounds left at the end - no one even asked about them, all 3 days.
Thanks for the report!
It sure sounds like an activity packed show.
I had really hoped to make it this time, but I too live hours north and life got in the way to prevent that from happening this time around. :-(
I’m bummed!

Great report, thanks for sharing!
But I gotta know…
** a perfect original raw 17-S Walker AU58, i already regret selling this coin but his offer was too strong to pass up.**
Was this an obverse or reverse mint mark?
@Walkerguy21D …..Obverse
I figured….that’s a pretty big coin!
I needed an April show and could kick myself for not at least trying to get a table there. Hope Denver in a couple weeks is good. Have a load of silver eagles to move, among other stuff. Sounds like it was a great show there on both sides of the tables.
Thanks for your report.
Great report, and spot on as far as how good the show was. I felt the same way, Friday great wholesale/buying, Saturday more retail sales. Thanks for sharing!
