I know there are plenty of places for gold and silver prices but...

Is there a reliable site that shows what the premium spreads are on common old gold coins, especially the larger denominations? I've seen where the $20's have climbed a bit but would like a place that shows what they buy/sell spread is for them.

I'm in this situation.
Not from what I have seen but would love to know if there is something I am missing.
Dealer today showed me Heritage buy prices on $20 pre-33 gold. Was NOTICABLY ABOVE JMBullion & APMEX.
I hadn't thought about Heritage as a place for that, and haven't looked yet, but will take what he told me as valid.
So, even as gold goes up/down, and the common $20s are seen as commodities and will adjust with the spot price, they are still at a premium, as you stated, even if some try to deny that or diminish it.
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
Upstate coin posts bid/ask daily.
Stacks posts daily buy prices.
And, of course, there's greysheet but it's lagging current premiums
I would be interested in such a resource as well. As it is, I research hard data through auctions and website sales periodically. Definitely well above melt right now... Cheers, RickO
I checked the Upstate web site and I can't find it. Do you specifically have to request it?

I think the Upstate site used to be easily accessible to everyone. But, perhaps now it is only available to those who are registered with their company? (have to provide references, etc., to register?)
I just tried the link I used before and it does say that they have moved it and you have to sign in to get the info.
I'm having trouble finding it. Can you provide a link? Thank you.

I think you have to be signed up to get the email. I don't get it myself but I've seen it posted here.
They changed it last year so that you need to be registered to see it.
good link Frank. Added to my favorites.
Repetition of ignorance is ignorance raised to the power two.
I used to depend on it but new management requires you to qualify for access by have tax ID number and be professional dealer.
Alas, I am but a mere vest pocket guy…
I somewhat understand that this is a business business.
However, registration is free Registration and membership are free for them so I don’t completely understand the commercial aspect of restricting access…
So it sounds like it wasn't just me! The Upstate wants a bit too much info, I don't need someone to call me to help complete my form. The like Frank provided is very good, but I didn't see buy/sell prices for generic US $20s, $10s or others.

Probably too time consuming for onesie twosie buyers/sellers.
Heritage has a gold price sheet every day. They are primarily a dealer source. Quite often may want quantity orders.
For most circ gold, I'd stick with the grey sheet.
