    So the top teams don’t even get a first round bye?
    As the season was winding down I wondered if the top players rested.
    Pastrnak and Mcdavid didn’t and Connor only ended up winning in goals by 3 after leading by 11 with 11 games left. Good enough to win my wager but glad the regular season is over or Pastrnak was going to catch him.
    Now I’ve got Boston winning the Lord Stanley Roper cup. 🏒🍺

    No all top 16 teams must go head to head. 1 vs 8, 2 vs 7, 3 vs 6 & 4 vs 6 in each conference. There are no breaks. The 1st series is best of 5 then after that best of 7.

    Boston = #1

    Florida = #8

    McDavid will be receiving a lot of trophy's this year at the NHL award ceremony held each June as is the NHL Draft every year. Some big name players coming up for next season especially one guy at the top of all teams lists.

    Never easy to win the Stanley Cup. Here in Canada it last happened in 1993 yes 30 years ago. Montreal was the last. Boston still has a great chance this year to win it all.

    2-0 Bruins! One of the announcers just told us one pretty crazy stat by the Bruins this year...they've only lost one game all season where they scored first.

    Boston has won 1 Stanley Cup in that 30 years. Back in 2011 vs Vancouver. And before that they won in 1972 that is how hard it is to win The Cup. Took them almost 40 years between Cups.

    The Bruins have won the Stanley Cup six times (1929, 1939, 1941, 1970, 1972, and 2011). Established in 1924, the Bruins were the first American team to join the NHL.

    Game #2 puck drops in a little over than 3 hours from now. Should be another good game.

    You got me hooked lol, I'm now planning around their games. Its stinks that their games 3-4 are on friday/sunday same as the Celtics, I may have to have two laptops going. 😉

    Sometimes they fall in between periods/quarters and you can watch both instead of the talking between each.

    I usually watch all games on my laptop plugged into my TV and on some days where say the Pats & Celtics played at the same time I'd setup two laptops to watch both. That rarely happens thoguh so I'll set something up this weekend so I won't miss a game.

    Seems all rounds are best of 7 geez I thought for some reason it was best of 5 in the 1st round. So first to win 4 games gets the series.

    Ah well more hockey and that is always good!!!

    Not their night. Hats off to Florida though,its a good reminder that all of these recent Boston records don't mean a thing now.

    If you want the Cup your whole team needs to play 110% each game. Series tied 1-1 I think Boston will come back hard in the next game.

    Just look at Edmonton losing game 1 they played at 100% but LA played at 110%.

    I listen to all sports on the radio online I don't have cable TV. Been like that for 15 years+. I don't miss TV at all I find the radio a lot of fun just like they had in the old days.

    I can get most NHL games with the internet radio stations. Not all teams but most.
