Found something different 1964D Lincoln cent

Just wondering if everyone has seen this before and also what does it add to the coin, if anything?

It adds a glob of metal at the bottom of the Lincoln Memorial...

Looks like a small Die Chip. Doesn’t really add any value to the coin.

After minting 3,799,071,500 1964-D Cents, there is bound to be a lot of different problems with them.

It's a nice die chip, though.

    I'd keep it.

Its worth 2 to 3 cents for the copper value. One cent if you spend it.

It's a common occurance - the extra blob of metal makes up for all the scratches and dents - B)

@Matt97932... As mentioned above, it is a die chip.... No significant numismatic premium. Nice keeper for an album. Cheers, RickO
